Jetta Front Door Does Not Lock

The door locks latches for vw jetta wolfsburg edition 2010 are not working currently three out of four doors latches are not working.

Jetta front door does not lock.

When this problem started i also noticed that the car stopped beeping when the doors were locked with the remote. The interior dome lights turn on when the door is opened. Go into your jetta and play around with the power lock switches. One door lock is not working.

The front driver s side door won t lock when using the key fob or pressing the lock button on the door handle. I returned it promptly to have it fixed since it was under warranty. First you need to be 100 sure that the key fob is the culprit. If this is a 2006 model jetta wich more then likely this is the case this is the case you have broken wires in the drivers side door harness if you remove the the rubber boot that covers up the door harness right by the door hinge on the drivers door door open you will be able to see that you have broken wires in the harness. If your key fob fails to lock or unlock your car all you need to do is to replace its battery. If the power locks seem to be working just fine from within the car then you need to replace your key fob battery.

If the lock slowly started to lose power speed locking and locking or would stop working intermittently and start again the motor actuator is most likely to blame. Front driver s side door won t lock. When i brought it home from the dealer the rear driver door would not lock.
