My next new again project is simple way to add sliding doors to an existing bookshelf or ikea kallax. The traditional glass display case was yesterday. Hope this might make your building process a little bit easier. The stylistically pure and simple design exudes elegance or gives your living room a playful touch.

Kallax is stylish and simple but it does many things. Once the hinges were on the door side i lined it up with the kallax and used the 1 screws to attach it to the unit. You can place it on the floor on a wall or as a room divider to completely transform your living area. After preparing the holes in the kallax i pre drilled small holes into the doors to avoid any splitting then screwed the hinges onto the doors using the 3 8 screws.

This bookshelf is actually the expedite which was replaced with the kallax several years ago new again is an ongoing series shared by some of my best most talented blogging friends.
